Since Joe Biden assumed the presidency of the United States – two months ago – there have been many public signs in favor of a change in policy towards Cuba, including 80 congressmen and a score of North American cities calling for the end of the economic siege, commercial and financial to our country.

Policy change that was part of Biden’s campaign speech against Trump and that today finds resistance in an anti-Cuban nucleus in the United States Congress and in a conservative wing that maintains its narrative of asphyxiating the Cuban people and even if you do not believe it, some even call for the annexation of the Caribbean nation to the northern country.
