Of irreparable loss, the former president, Dilma Rousseff, described the end of the participation of Cuban professionals in the More Doctors of Brazil Program.

Rousseff recalled that more than 113 million Brazilians were served by Cuban doctors, many of whom had never had access to a health professional.

Through the social network Twitter the ex-official said that the stale and arrogant action of the president-elect forces Cuba not to continue in the program which leaves millions without basic health care.

Also the health authorities of small cities in Brazil fear a health blackout as a result of the offensive position of the far right Jair Bolsonaro.

The journalist and political analyst Francisco das Chagas, through his channel on You Tube, referred to Bolsonaro’s threats as an attempt to humiliate Cuba.

A Head of State cannot come to fight with countries just because they do not have an ideological affinity with him. Now the situation with Cuba has dramatically affected the Más Médicos Program, which was one of the greatest advances in Brazilian medicine, with the help of Cuba.

Bolsonaro went to humiliate Cuba. People know that Cuba is eternally humiliated by the United States and that is not why it is bowed to American power. Could it be that he would go to humiliate before the blackmail of Bolsonaro’s government?

It is clear that Cuba is a poor country, but it is a poor country with the best education in the world, the best health in the world, the best teachers.

The Brazilian television station O Globo also analyzed the benefits of the Cuban health system, in the context of the Más Médicos para Brazil program.

Cuba does not withdraw from the Brazilian medical program, as the biased and committed press media believe with the right.

Cuba does not continue participating in that program, because the modifications announced by the extreme right-wing Bolsonaro impose unacceptable conditions for the island, a country with recognized internationalist trajectory and demonstrated humanistic and disinterested work.

Bolsonaro will be responsible for millions of Brazilians being without medical assistance again, prone to losing their lives due to preventable or curable diseases, away from the inalienable right to health and the attention of high-quality professionals, as a consequence of their threatening rhetoric.
