Headed Dimitri Medvedev inauguration of restoration of the Capitol dome

As part of his official visit to Cuba, Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev, on Thursday, led the opening ceremony of the restoration work of the cupola of the National Capitol of Cuba.

During the ceremony, a card that commemorates the friendship between the Island and Russia was unveiled. The time was also opportune to announce the delivery of a Russian flag that will be added to the courtship of teachings that guard the Tomb of the unknown Mambí.

The act was attended by the president of the National Assembly of Popular Power, Esteban Lazo.
