The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, will participate in the XXXI special session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), the newspaper Granma reported on Monday.According to the publication, the meeting will take place virtually on December 3 and 4 to analyze the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among other issues, the head of state denounced the hostility of the North American government and its escalation in the midst of Covid-19.

The aggressiveness of the United States has risen to a qualitatively new level, which reinforces its condition as a real and determining impediment to the management of the economy and development, he denounced.
