Cuban collaborators support start of school year in Bahamas

In statements to Prensa Latina, José Reinel García, representative of the Ministry of Education of Cuba in this nation, ratified the altruistic commitment of national collaborators, who contributed with their efforts to the opening of the school year in much of the Bahamian Islands, to exception of the most affected.

“Even when the greatest impact was on the Abaco and Grand Bahamas islands, in the capital and elsewhere, the strong winds and intense waters caused damage and the Cuban brigades quickly turned to recovery, from the institutions,” he said.

The 55 cooperators of the largest of the Antilles in the education sector also support the work in the communities with the population, in the restoration of roofs, windows, collection of debris and cleaning
