The National Director of Epidemiology of MINSAP, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Friday 10 deaths and 1,241 positive samples for Covid-19, for an accumulated of 99,208 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation.
The national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Friday 10 deaths and 1,241 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for an accumulated of 99,208 diagnoses since the beginning of disease in the nation.
During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at the end of this Thursday 24,277 patients were admitted, of them 3,538 suspects, 15,116 in epidemiological surveillance and 5,623 confirmed. Cuba carried out 22,217 samples the day before for a cumulative of 3,473,135 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 1,241 patients, 595 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 1,165 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 36 have a source of infection abroad and in 40 people the source of infection is unknown. Autochthonous 1 205. Regarding the age groups, 191 patients were diagnosed under 19 years of age and 178 pediatric ages (10 under one year). 817 remain active hospitalized.
