ALBA-TCP: unconditional support to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Nations that make up the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) today intensified their support for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the face of the damage caused by the La Soufriere volcano.

Through the social network Twitter, the regional integration bloc reported this Saturday about the arrival in Santa Lucia of a ship from the Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela to search for drinking water and supplies donated by the Caribbean countries for the victims.

At the beginning of the week, the Guajira T-63 ship arrived in the Caribbean nation with 20 tons of humanitarian aid sent by Venezuela. La Soufriere volcano continued to erupt although explosive activity seems calm at the moment, while the rate of occurrence of tremors has decreased significantly since Friday night.
