A Constitution that looks to the future

In just 30 years of age, Ricardo Martínez Rosales participates in the manufacture of vaccines at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in favor of human health.

This young scientist sees his interests reflected inthe new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, as the need to promote the development of science is reflected.

It is very important that we continue fostering the progress of research in our country. The center produces various vaccines for the national and international community and I believe that the support to this line favors the economy and our prestige in the area; and that support for scientific research is in the new Magna Carta, “said Martinez Rosales.

In his opinion, the document responds to the demand of many teachers about the need to involve tutors more in curricular activities.”Now the school is given a little more power with respect to the care of the children. Each parent must be consistent and responsible for sending everyday to the classroom and when this is not the case, the school can process it through the relevant channels for the immediate solution of these problems.”

In this regard, Dayron Fernández Góngora, General Manager of the Branch of Artex in Havana, also considers each one of thechanges that make the constitution a reflection of the current nation.

“The most significant thing that I believe this process has been, is that we young people, workers and the general public have had the opportunity to express their opinion, design and create the Law of Laws. Changes are necessary, the world is advancing and we are part of it.”

Why do you vote yes?

Ricardo: “To support the new constitution is to go in favor of our society, of our progress, of the new times that are running and in favor of confirming the socialist character of our Revolution.”

Alexander: “On February 24 of this same year, I, as director of the school, will be in the organization and preparation of the polling stations that will be in the center, but I will also be the first to vote for the new Constitution of the Republic. It is my commitment to the continuity of this great work of Martí and Fidelista “.

Dayron: “I strongly support this Magna Carta because it gives us the scope to shape our society and to build together, the future we want for our country.”
