Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterates Cuba’s solidarity with the Saharawi cause

The President of the Councils of States and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received the President of the Sahrawi Democratic Arab Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, who made an official visit to Cuba.
During the fraternal meeting, they discussed the ties of brotherhood that characterize bilateral relations and the main aspects of the existing cooperation between both nations.
The Cuban President reiterated the solidarity of our country with the Saharawi cause and the support for his right to self-determination. They also exchanged on topics of interest on the international agenda.
Accompanied the distinguished visitor Omar Mansur, Minister for Latin America and the Caribbean; Ambassador Melainine Etkana; and Abdati Breika, adviser to the President.
On the Cuban side, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla participated; the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra Díaz; and the ambassador Clara Pulido Escandell.
