If you are, you should be concerned about the non decent behaviors we see daily.

For sure, more than once, you like me, have been witness or victim of vulgar scenes, whether in the streets on a shop store counter or in the lobby of public institution. For instance, service staff speaking out loud to the security guards in the main entrance of a prestigious organism, the ones who get on the bus with reggaetton too loud in their mobile speakers or clerks arguing with customers.

Those are scenes where they mistreat, offend and give the worst images… But the saddest part of it is that the ones who act like this show no interest about it.

Indecent people do not recognize nor feel ashamed of their faults, because for them that is their average behavior.

Actually, these attitudes involve me, because Cuban people out of their nature and idiosyncrasy are not like that, but in the last years for social degradation matters and lack of exigency of no little laws, these negative attitudes are seen increasingly frequent.

It is very sad to see a young man, a woman or elder person with indecent behaviors.

And sometimes these behaviors are not only tangible while speaking or adequately speaking shouting, but also in the way of dressing, walking and procedures in everyday life. Fortunately, not everything is lost.

There are also a lot of respectful people, well mannered and decent in Cuba, who say good morning, excuse me, speak low voiced and are the same who before vulgar events rather stay silent and keep on walking.

Family and school are key factors in the formation of values.

I´m convinced that good manners have not age.

That is why is could be practiced either by a young or elder man. I know of very decent boys, and however very vulgar elder men and vice versa.

And do you know why? Because good manners come from the cradle and family has a lot to do with this.

We need a country with decency, because being decent is respecting the other person criterion and leaving aside vulgarity, gossips, is to solve any problem through dialogs, dealing well with the rest of people, speaking adequately. It is not making undesirables gestures with hands and faces, it is not saying nasty words, it is to dress and behave according to the place, it is simply to be nice, respectful and well mannered.

Cuba, its society and our development need from good people, from men and women with decency and that should be achieved with culture, sensibility, education but also with the so necessary rigor for the fulfillment of the rules and the laws of social behavior.
