Havana says goodbye to its Theater Festival

The eighteenth edition of the Havana Theater Festival 2019 has been held since last Friday 18 with great public reception. The event was dedicated to Vicente Revuelta’s ninety years and was held under the premise “Concept, Technique and Direction”.

Why is the public still faithful to dialogue with the art of the tables? How can we understand a reality that goes beyond our own? The 2019 Havana Theater Festival has been the core to stop looking at these issues. The meeting showed a diversity of proposals, which, although they connect or not with the critic or the receiver, speaks of the multiplicity of aesthetics present in the contemporary that goes from the performative to the dance exercise.
