According to information from Granma, the interview of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister with the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro Ruz, and the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, took place in a fraternal environment.
Likewise, Raúl Castro and Díaz-Canel reiterated during that meeting their support for the constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic-military union of the Venezuelan people.
In the official note it is indicated that Chancellor Arreaza ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution with the principles endorsed in the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Cuba, Adán Chávez Frías, and the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, were present at these conversations last night.
The event will explore new opportunities for integration and reaffirm the commitment of unity, cooperation and solidarity among the member nations in the current situation, reported the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
The body that meets in this capital is made up of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of each member country, and its objective is to advise the Presidential Council of that integrationist platform on strategic issues and present proposals for international policy issues.
