Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez called on Tuesday to preserve the peace and avoid the unjustifiable use of force against Venezuela, amid an escalation of pressure led by the United States.
In his account of the social network Twitter, the diplomat denounced the commitment of officials of the White House to attack the South American nation, where they seek to impose a change of regime.
“Ambitions and plans driven by more irresponsible figures of the government and Congress of the United States are a dangerous provocation to achieve by force what they could not obtain at the polls,” Bruno Rodríguez warned.
The Cuban foreign minister has used Twitter in the last few hours to condemn the presentation by Washington in the UN Security Council of a draft resolution that uses the humanitarian issue as a spearhead to lay the foundations to escalate in the aggression against Venezuela.
