After the triumph of former Vice President Joseph Biden in four of the six states of the Union that celebrated Democratic primaries on Great Tuesday, Bernie Sanders’ aspirations to achieve the nomination are increasingly distant today.

Biden took the top prize of the day to prevail in Michigan, a state that distributes 125 delegates of the 352 in total disputed the day before, and in which Sanders surprisingly defeated his then rival Hillary Clinton four years ago.

A Biden resurrected and strengthened

Analysts already anticipated, “in politics four years is a long time and anything could happen.” And it happened.

A resurrected and strengthened Biden arrived at the contest on Tuesday, with all the polls in favor and a wave of support that began to add, including that of the elite of the Democratic Party itself that bets on the moderate option against that of ubn ‘socialism democratic ‘that causes panic.

A day before the primaries, polls published in the main press media in Detroit (Michigan) gave the former vice president an advantage in the intention of a seven-point vote on the Vermont legislator.

An almost devastating blow for Bernie Sanders

If in 2016 winning Michigan represented for Sanders the revitalization of his campaign, losing it last night is an almost devastating blow that decreases his chances of reaching the longed for presidential nomination of the blue force.

According to press reports, Biden’s categorical victory in Michigan, Idaho, Missouri and Mississippi highlighted his strength among workers and African-Americans, vital groups to obtain the nomination.

Precisely, it was the black electorate that allowed the resurgence of its campaign by winning in South Carolina on February 29 after a bad performance in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada.

Now the results in Michigan – especially – point to this being a scenario of closed dispute during the presidential elections on November 3 when Biden vs Trump appear on the ballot, who in 2016 took the first place there from Clinton for just 10 1 thousand 704 votes.

Biden leads Sanders 837 vs 675

Great Tuesday or Super Tuesday II gave Sanders only the states North Dakota and Washington, accumulating at this stage of the game 675 delegates, while Biden has 837, of the 1,991 required for the Democratic nomination.

Referring to his erratic takeoff, Barack Obama’s vice president in office (2009-2017) reiterated that until very recently – many experts declared this candidacy dead. We are now fully alive. ’

Together we are uniting the Democratic Party, Biden emphasized. “Today we are getting closer to restoring honor and decency in the White House,” he stressed as if he were sure that the candidacy of that political force will fall on him.

In a message to Sanders since his address in Philadelphia, the current leader in the Democratic race stressed that ‘We have a common goal. Together we will defeat Donald Trump.

They remember press reports that in 2016 the senator fought until the end against Clinton even though it was already mathematically impossible to reach her.

At this time some members of the party began to suggest Sanders to leave the campaign, but the senator does not show signs of withdrawal yet.

Optimist, perhaps, continues to draw accounts, because in politics in the blink of an eye everything can change and the example of this is Biden himself, from dying to successful.
