Chloé Fiona Ludden (United Kingdom [1]

['Ffc Bénévole Des Médias']

Date: 2025-07-19

Chloé is a former United Nations staff member and scientist. She resigned from the UN to join the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and break the institutional silence, as Palestinians in Gaza continue to be bombed, starved, and erased by Israel and their allies with impunity and under the watch of the very institutions meant to protect life.

“I still believe in international law,” she says. “I still believe in the UN Charter. But Gaza is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a mirror -of what we tolerate, what we normalize, and what we become when we look away.”

She joins the flotilla to make truth visible and to remind those inside institutions that conscience is a force no order can suppress, and that human rights are meant to be enacted, not proclaimed.

As Jewish historian Howard Zinn once said: “Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience”.
