SAN ANTONIO — Escalating tensions in the Middle East have sparked local demonstrations as anti-war protesters gathered near Fort Sam Houston.

The protest, organized by About Face Veterans Against the War and Oppressed Revolutionaries for Worker Power, aimed to voice opposition to potential U.S. military actions in the region.

The groups called for the United States and Israel to cease what they described as aggressions towards Iran and the Middle East. Protesters expressed their desire to prevent the U.S. from entering into a war with Iran.
