But Donald Trump and MAGA allies in Congress aim to roll back these investments, to bankroll more tax cuts for polluters and billionaires. We need your help to stop them.

We are enduring a heart-rending moment of vicious backlash against federal climate progress. Unfortunately, in the dead of night and by one vote, the US House passed a budget bill seeking to repeal everything that the IRA law is doing to accelerate the affordable solar energy revolution.
But we can stop them from stealing these hard-earned benefits. Most IRA investments went to red and purple districts—so as Trump’s dangerous tariffs and chaotic policies hit household pocketbooks, your elected leaders are listening anxiously. The Republican- controlled US Senate has not yet released their version of the bill. Several conservative Senators are on record seeking to preserve the IRA. Senators value their deliberative role, and want to leave a mark on this bill. But Trump and his fossil-fueled cronies are pressuring Senators to pass the whole mess fast. The key is for us to be tough, loud, and proactive.
Our Senators must put the kibosh on foolhardy anti-IRA provisions that raise energy costs for families, derail the economy, and cancel American jobs.
