Zuckerberg says Trump's shooting response was one of 'most bada** things' he's ever seen [1]

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in an with Bloomberg Thursday described former President Donald Trump’s reaction to the attempted assassination against him as “bada--.”



Trump, after being grazed by a bullet from a would-be assassin in Butler, Pa. Saturday, raised his fist and shouted “fight.” The reaction led to a widely shared photograph of a bloody Trump surrounded by Secret Service members, which went viral on social media.

Zuckerberg, in a preview clip of the soon-to-be-released interview, said he chose not to endorse either candidate for president in this election. However, that decision, he said, did not play into his reaction to Saturday’s events.

On a personal note, seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most bada-- things I’ve ever seen in my life," he said.

The tech CEO noted that as an American he felt “kind of emotional” after witnessing the shooting.

“I think that’s why a lot of people like the guy,” he said.

Trump has seen an outpouring of support in the wake of the shooting. Some attendees of the Republican National Convention (RNC) this week ear bandages in solidarity with the former president. The RNC crowd also broke out into chants of “fight” multiple times during the convention.
