Iowa
Trump won the Iowa Caucus with about half of 14% of registered republicans. He got a total of 56,280 votes.
We’re talking about 56,280 people here. I’ve had tweets with more likes. So maybe calm down, media. — Mueller, She Wrote (@MuellerSheWrote) January 16, 2024
The first irrelevant primary is over. More to come, unfortunately.
14% of Republicans came out to caucus last night. It was one of the lowest turnouts in history. Sure, it was cold, but this was low even taking that into account. Enthusiasm? Yeah, sure.

America voting for a would-be dictator in popcorn buckets is straight out of a dystopian novella. pic.twitter.com/FZy6tc45LN — Justin Meeks (@JustinMeeksAR) January 16, 2024
56,000 Iowans voted for Trump. That’s 0.000168% of the population of the country. But the internet dudes are already picking out drapes for the new concentration camps. pic.twitter.com/EJOwfyiFu7 — Ron Filipkowski (@RonFilipkowski) January 16, 2024
I’m looking forward to when this little superfluous pageant is over.
Lol:
People, can we stop negatively harping on how only 14% of Iowa GOP showed up to vote?
And not dwell on how this means only 7% of Iowa GOP voted for Trump?
Let's TRY to be positive & just remind the media how this means 93% of registered Iowa Republicans didn't vote for Trump. — John Fugelsang (@JohnFugelsang) January 16, 2024
