New Hampshire presidential primary results [1]

President Joe Biden has won the New Hampshire Democratic primary as a write-in candidate and Donald Trump has swept the first two contests of the 2024 Republican primary.

Early returns showed Trump with a commanding lead over former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who was ahead only in the most Democratic-leaning parts of the state. Findings from AP VoteCast confirmed these early returns.

Biden’s didn’t appear on the ballot in New Hampshire, which held its primary in violation of national party rules. The overwhelming majority of ballots cast in the Democratic primary were for write-in candidates, and early returns and VoteCast indicated Biden was winning nearly all of them.
