Red Cross Says Gaza Health System Has Collapsed [1]

The International Committee of the Red Cross said that the health system in the Gaza Strip has collapsed. “The healthcare system in Gaza has reached a point of no return, risking the lives of thousands of wounded, sick and displaced people,” the ICRC said.

As Israeli forces converged Friday on Gaza hospitals that Israel says house Hamas militants, the ICRC called for the immediate protection of all civilians, including humanitarian workers and medical staff in Gaza. The committee’s teams in Gaza in recent days have distributed critical supplies to medical structures across the enclave. Hamas has denied Israel's allegations.
