Gaza Internet Access Severed, Network Operator Says [1]

The Gaza Strip lost its already tenuous access to the global internet late Friday, according to the territory's domestic mobile-phone carrier and outside observers of global data flows. Palestinian network operator Jawwal said the enclave sustained a “complete disruption of all telecommunications and internet services.”

“The intense bombardment in the last hour has destroyed all the remaining international routes connecting Gaza to the outside world,” Jawwal said in a post in Arabic on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter.
