Former President Donald Trump continued to decry the possibility of as "eleciton interference" during a Fox News town hall interview Tuesday night.

"It's interference in the election, it's election interference," he said to the crowd in Iowa.

Trump also continued to press a line of rhetoric embraced by many of his supporters in Congress, like Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene that the first – and now possibly second – indictments of the former commander-in-chief by Special Counsel Jack Smith of the Department of Justice and Democrats.

While Trump, who already faces 37 counts for his alleged mishandling of classified documents he retained after leaving office, called the actions by the Justice Department "facist" and compared the actions taken against him to something done in "communist" nations, it is worth repeating that the indictment(s) against Trump were voted on by a grand jury of American citizens in order to be brought against him, not at the direction of any senior political officials.

Meanwhile in Miami, Judge Aileen Cannon (who was appointed to the federal bench by Trump) is expected to announce a date for the beginning of his any day now.
