After Violent Tel Aviv Clashes, Protesters Gather Outside Netanyahu's Jerusalem Home [1]

Two friends, one wearing a small Israeli flag, the other one carrying a large one were among the thousands making their way to central Tel Aviv from the northern reaches of the city.
Hili Ringel, a 40-year-old mother of two who works as a UX designer is protesting even though her immigrant parents, from Argentina, fear it's too late to save Israeli democracy. She argues it's essential to be in the streets as she has been for the last two months of protests and strikes.
"I can't sit at home," she said. "We must make a change so we don't become like Hungary and Poland. They did not strike enough and now they don't have democracy."
If the judicial reform bills get pushed through the Knesset she said the protests must only get louder. "We won't stop."
"My parents came here from Argentina, my husband immigrated from Argentina when he was 24. We've been in the army, we've been in all the wars and now my parents say I should leave, they say 'Don't stay, Go, now, things will not change.' But I am still at least a little bit optimistic. I think there are great and amazing people here, we don't see that reflected in the government but they are the majority and we will fight."
Her friend,Moran Cohen-Lesham, 38, works with youth at risk describes herself as deeply depressed about the state of the country.
"I don't want to leave my country. I want to fight," she said, but if laws are passed that for example, crack down on women's rights and make them effectively second-class citizens, she will leave. "It's frightening, I'm really afraid, I'm crying every morning. I'm really distressed. I get into my car and start crying because I love my country, but I feel like I'm losing it."
