Fox News Christmas tree engulfed in flames after man climbs it, caught on video

The Fox "News" Christmas tree on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan went up in flames this morning after a 49-year-old man set it on fire, apparently with a lighter. The fire then spread to nearby smaller decorated trees.

The man had scaled the tree — which is artificial — and stuffed it with paper he had brought, according to ABC7. He then lit the paper on fire, which engulfed the tree and its 10,000 ornaments.

He is now in custody.
