A Guide To Armageddon was a 30-minute documentary broadcast by the BBC in 1982 to inform viewers of the forthcoming horror of nuclear annihilation. It gets into the cold, deep details, such as how quickly the fat liquidizes on a haunch of meat hanging in a butcher's shop four and a half miles from ground zero. If you're familiar with Threads, the broadcaster's fictional feature-film treatment of the same subject (by the same director) you'll have an idea of the unrelenting, merciless experience you're setting yourself up for by clicking play.
