There is no shocking thing in this trailer for the new Guillermo del Toro movie

Guillermo del Toro is making a film noir movie, Nightmare Alley, with no monsters, although the trailer mentions monsters a lot and it is set at a carnival.

With beautiful sets, costumes, makeup, and actors this film looks destined to win many awards. Based on a 1946 novel by William Lindsay Gresham, the plot reminds me of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
