You can cook salmon in the dishwasher

Wrap seasoned salmon in aluminum foil, place it in your dishwasher, and voila! Dinner is served. The heat from a dishwasher can cook salmon, and the unconventional cooking method may prevent fishy smells from stinking up the house.

Vincent Price cooked fish in the dishwasher on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1975, calling it "a dish any fool can prepare."

But remember: just because you can doesn't mean you should.
