This airplane banner wasn't an anti-semitic statement but rather a marriage proposal

2021-09-03 00:00:00

A banner plane message caused quite a stir when spotted in the skies above Pembroke Pines, Florida last weekend. Amid a rise in anti-semitic crimes and hate speech, it's easy to understand why a message that reads "Jew, I have a question…" might be suspect. Turns out though it was a marriage proposal to someone nicknamed "Jew."

Seems reasonable, I suppose, although "Jew" seems like a problematic nickname.

In any case, I hope the answer was yes!
