Explorers: search a mysterious island for treasure and companionship

Explorers is a 15-minute game where you chance upon a chain of desert islands and explore them in search of treasure. There are other explorers too, washing up on their own ramshackle rafts. The game plays a little like Sid Meier's Pirates! and suggests a competition to find all the secrets first, but the vibe is relaxed: "There is no time constraint, no danger, there's no gameover," writes creator Rémy Devaux. A simple Pico-8 version of the game can be played on itch.io free of charge; a more featureful downloadable version is $5.
