Watch thief use long pole with hook to steal handbag through apartment window

In Kowloon, Hong Kong on Sunday, a thief scurried up the scaffolding outside an apartment building, stopped at a tenth floor window, and then deployed an extra long pole with hook to snatch a purse from inside the residence. Watch the video below which, of course, invites the question of why there's a camera pointed at the sofa. But anyway…

According to Yahoo! News, the purse contained HK$1,200 and bank cards. Police are on the hunt for the suspect.
