The dark underworld of McDonald's broken ice cream machines

In 2017 we reported on McBroken, an app designed to help you avoid the nearly 50/50 chance one appears to have of finding that a McDonald's ice cream machine is broken. This guy puts in a lot of effort to understand why.

I rarely visit a McDonald's but have certainly wondered at the broken machine thing.
