Description : Starship is a complete SIX LEVEL hub.
You are a disgruntled crew member of a massive
warlike star cruiser. You set out to sabotage the ship
by cutting it off from its power sources on three
enslaved worlds; Alluvialis, Palaxistant, and Mazzarri.
Warp portals on the starship take you to each planet,
where you have to find the power conduit and shut it
off.
After you shut down all the power, you gain access
to the starship's homeworld, Abbatoir where you must
face Korax.
Misc. Info : There is a little more RPG to this hub than you
will find in most PWADs, or in Hexen's own levels.
At times you will have to talk to enemies in order to
solve the puzzle on a given level. If an enemy just
stands there without attacking, or even moving, and
fails to die, or even blink when you smite it, that
is your clue that this is a NPC. Simply walking against
one of these non-hostile enemies will start a
conversation.
There is a secret planet, Mephitis(look it up)
That skillful players may find. The secret level is
the site of Bob the Hamster's Swamp Casino. I strongly
recomend that you put all your efforts into finding
this secret level, as it is the spiffiest level in the
hub.
Additional Credits : Raven Software, and that other company that worked on
Hexen... what do they call themselves? Oh, whatever.

Deathmatch : Sorry to dissapoint you, but no.
Difficulty Settings : Yes
New Sounds : YES! (all on the secret level)
New Graphics : YES! (several new wall flats, check out the SPAM!)
New Music : Yes (some imported doom and heretic music, mostly
because Hexen's native music isnt loud enough for my
tastes)
Demos Replaced : Yes.
* Construction Information *
Base : New hub from scratch
Build Time : I forget how long. I have been working on it off and
on, bit at a time, for several months.
Editors used : WADAUTHOR for the maps (a totally worthless editor)
DEEP for the new textures (I hate crippled shareware)
ACC for the scripts
CUSTOMWAD for piecing it all together. (a bunch of
inconvenient command-line programs that I found very
usefull despite their simplicity.)
Known Bugs : Since this WAD uses a few alternate graphics and sound
effects, playing beyond level 6 can get a bit wierd.
Fortunately, this does no harm to antything, and can
even be kind of funny at times.

Distribute this WAD freely. Be sure to include this text file.
However, Refrain from distrubuting altered copies... Unless somebody
decides to make this level work with Deathmatches and Co-ops. Anybody who
does that (and does it well) is welcome to add their name to the credits
part of this file, and distribute it that way.
You can use this WAD as a base for creating other levels, but why bother?
You could never top the levels I made!
