Uploader's Note         : This upload is part of an attempt to find, test,
                         and archive on idgames any "lost" Heretic/Hexen
                         PWADs that can be recovered from compilation CDs,
                         other archives, etc.  Something for the
                         oldschoolers out there.
                         NB: CASTLE3.WAD as originally released was
                         impossible to beat in single player because
                         the player 1 start was in a different part of
                         the map, unable to access many vital areas.  It
                         seems very likely that Martin intended all
                         players to start together, but moved the P1
                         start for testing and forgot to move it back.
                         The uploader has taken the liberty of correcting
                         this, but includes the original release of the
                         map as CASTLE3.OLW.  No other aspect of the map
                         was altered.
                         This is the "modernized" text file, filled in
                         with the original information where possible and
                         the uploader's best attempt otherwise.
                         The original text file is included as
                          CASTLE3.OLD.
