Title                   : Project X
Date Finished           : May 25(v1.8)
Author                  : CYBerDem?n
Email Address           : [email protected]
Other Files By Author   : South Park Doom][, BFG 3400, the Plasma FAQ
                         and a few more(go to http://members.xoom.com/Doom2)
Misc. Author Info       : Doom addict(of course).  This is my first big
project not centering around graphics.  All the
levels are in the order I made them(except levels
                         7, 15 and 20.
Description             : 32 new levels for Doom][(see P-XMAN.TXT for more).
Not just shoot 'em up, not just puzzle solving.  Two
levels even make you search for something before you
                         can exit.

Additional Credits to   : id Software(of course), and all the programmers
Great many thanks to TeamTNT for Icarus, which
gave me a few ideas, and Ken Scott for the kick
ass status bar(which I altered slightly).  Oh yeah,
two of the skys may seem familiar.  They're right
                         outta Ultimate Doom(E1, and E3).
===========================================================================
Map #                   : All
Single Player           : Yes(main purpose)
Cooperative 2-4 Player  : Yes(untested)
Deathmatch 2-4 Player   : Yes(in some cases the level is bad for DM)
Difficulty Settings     : Nope, it's whatever I feel right.  Play it on
'Hurt Me Pleanty' that's what it's meant for.
New Sounds              : No
New Music               : Originally, I was going to, but decided against it.
New Graphics            : Yes
Demos Replaced          : All three(v1.9)

Base                    : 32 new levels from scratch.  However three levels
were inspired by level in Doom][, but I did
draw everything myself(ie the beginning of map 10)
Build Time              : A while...I'd say four months
Editor(s) used          : Waded, NWT, DeuTex, ENDOOMER, PSP, DoomED
Known Bugs              : None.  Everything's good.
Unknown Bugs            : I haven't found any(but then they'd be KNOWN)so if
you find one, notify me at once!)
May Not Run With...     : Tested it on a 486/DX with 8MB RAM, and it
works great.  The demos only run with v1.9
of Doom][.  It has some slowdown with Doom
Legacy, and the skys get screwed over, but
it still works fine.  Tested it with Boom and
                         it works great.

NOTE:

Project X is optimised for doom2.exe v1.9.  That's how the batch file
will run it.  Also, Boom takes away the Arch-Vile bug, which is the
theme of level 14, so that level will blow if you play it under Boom.

Authors can use these levels as a base to build additional
levels, BUT(there's always a but)you must ask me first!  Most likely
I'll say yes.  Also, this is freeware, so don't try to make profit
from it.

contact me and I'll point you in the right direction(like
six lines above here).  If you don't have a server(ie, you're
at school right now)you should get one, or download this at school
to disk.  I will NOT send this file to you under any circumstances,
becuase I'm working with a 14.4 connection here, and don't enjoy
having my mail stopped up for two hours.  I will say good day to you
