Description             : Read the story line below. This is like 3
levels in 1. New music, new textures.
I like to brag, I think this is one of the
                         coolest levels ever. No joke.

Story                   : A small research lab was being built to explore
the possibility of space/time travel via worm
holes or dimensional shifts. The research was
so successful that 2 stable space warps were
opened before the lab was finished.

After the government caught wind of this
research, the took over the lab and many of the
scientists who worked on the project were
terminated. The research was top secret and
anyone working on it was said to be in the
"inner circle". Military personel were brought
in to keep the former scientists out.

The two warps were used by the government to
study technologies from other places. A large
floating monster and a pink apelike monster
were captured and brought back to the lab
through these warps (though one other pinky had
to be killed as well as one floating monster in
the attempt). It was found however that these
trips through the warp caused psychological
disorders. In fact the whole lab is becoming
crazy. If that isn't bad enough, the warping
seems to have weakened space time in the lab
area. This results in the warping of creatures
into the lab area unexpectedly. We are afraid
this is gatting out of hand.

We have sent in a few marines in special
uniforms to shut down the plant and try to
rescue anyone stuck in the other dimensions.
The rescue attemps have failed so far. We need
you to go into the lab and shut the place down.
The keys needed to access the computer were
unfortunately left behind, we think, in some
other dimension of space. The powerful weapons
found during this research were also lost in
the rescue attempt. We can leave you only with
your side arm, but you will surely find weapons
there. We will drop you in the ventilation
shaft, and you can work your way through. Good
                         luck.
                                            .....

[as the Hummer drops you off, you fasten your
battle helmet, run out through the storm and
into the ventillation shaft. The place is quiet.
Damn quiet. You here the thunder rumble outside
as you slowly move into the shaft, not knowing
                         what to expect.]

* NOTES *

This level is kinda big. If you only have 4Mb of ram, then you might
have trouble saving. If you have a slow computer, it may seem choppy,
buy a new motherboard cause you'll never play quake ( a 486dx4 100
motherboard is only $200 with cpu as of 9/27/95 ).

UV is the only challenging skill. I added some extra ammo, but it
might be tight. You may have to go back to certain places later in
the game to pick up some items. You can easily finish in UV, but
try to get 100% [or more] kills ;) If those archvilles get lose on
you, and start reviving the dead... your screwed.
