Title                   : STAMPEDE
Filename                : STAMPEDE.WAD
Author                  : Adrian Tineo Cabello
Email Address           : [email protected]
Misc. Author info       : I love 3D games and I love the DeathMatch
                        experience.

                                      "QUAKE I NEED YOU"

Description             : FOR REGISTERED VERSION OF DOOM2 ONLY!!
This wad was mainly designed for DeathMatch
                         play. However, I don't like those "just-one
-purpose" levels so you'll be able to play
in one-player or cooperative. AND IT'S FUN!!
Read the last section to know more about this
                         WAD.

Additional Credits to   : Seba, my friend and usual DeathMatch opponent.
You can see us in action in the demo included.
John Romero and the rest of ID Software. I love
                         your games. Keep it up!

New Music               : I used another music from doom2. Now you'll hear
the music from map 10 (one of the best in my

* More about this WAD * (Hey, read this. The cool stuff is here)

I don't like to press the spacebar to open a door or to operate a lift when
I am in the middle of a chase. Most of the doors and the lift are activated
by linedefs before them. This way the door will open without stopping your
chase and the lift will be much faster to use.

Look for false walls to discover secret paths or to make ambushes. However,
I have tried to avoid those "attractive" spots in other DeathMatch wads to
prevent the lucky player from staying there all the game with all the good
items. For example, you are very vunerable when trying to get the blur sphere
if there is someone watching. Look for linedefs that teleport you to secret
areas.

All the weapons are there. Most of them more than once. Some are more
difficult to get than others. Remember that not all the switchs in DOOM
have to be activated with the spacebar.Try shooting. This way you could be
able to open a door in your room by shooting at a switch in another room
through a hole in the wall (big tip here). You may think a place is good for
hiding and that you can have at the same time a good weapon (I am referring
here to the dark corner in the room next to the BFG9000). Well, you could be
mistaken. That place is not that good because other players can know you are
there if they are in the right place at the right time. I won't tell more
about this. E-mail me to know the details.

Sometimes, I like to play DeathMatch with enemies. They are there. Of course,
you can always use the -nomonsters option for a true DeathMatch experience.
Difficulty levels have been implemented, but an experienced doomer like you
should not have any problems in the higher levels, should you?

All these features have been included to improve gameplay, specially in
DeathMatch. I would highly appreciate your comments about this WAD. E-mail me.
Besides,I'd like to receive demos to see what cool things you, DeathMatchers,
can do in this WAD (version 1.666 or 1.9, I don't mind).

Now, go to play this WAD and don't forget to worship the author :)
