And lots of rooks to kill.
This wad is based off of my own masterpiece (uh huh)
CRATER.WAD. It's a larger deathmatch level, though.
But you should see the original. It's even bigger.
I trimmed a lot off of the level so it would run a
bit faster than CRATER, but it may still bog on
slower machines a bit. This level would be GREAT for
like an 8 player deathmatch.. But too bad Id wouldn't
set it up.
Additional Credits to : The usual dudes, like Id and stuff.

* Play Information *
Episode and Level # : Map 5.
Why map 5? As I've said in a previous text (it's
TRENCH.WAD. Look for it. It's awesome! *plug*)
the first several levels of Doom 2 are already
cool deathmatch levels. It's just 5 and 6 lacked
true deathmatching potential. They're not bad,
just not red hot.. Yeah, as if THIS level is red
hot. It's very F-ing big!
Single Player : No (But it does have a warp-in spot)
Cooperative 2-4 Player : No (But it does have warp-in spots..)
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes! But I really recommend at least 4 people with
good computers. But try it anyway.
Difficulty Settings : Not implemented

Demos Replaced : None
* Construction *
Base : CRATER.WAD - I authored it myself so I'm sure there
won't be any legal proceedings.. unless I wanna sue
myself or something.

Known Bugs : You're joking, right?
Time taken : Oh... Well, I guess modifying took about 9 leisurely
hours. Yes, it really is nearly 4 am in the morning.
A couple of quick notes about this level... Keep in mind that the original
theme of the level was a crater in Mars. You remember the scene in the movie
Total Recall where Arnie gets sucked out into the atmosphere? Well, same thing
here. But you're tougher than Arnold so you'll live a little longer. The blue
glowing force-field is your friend... Or grab a suit if you wanna hit the
crater floor.
There is also a small room that can be used as a small stronghold.
Advantage: If you're paying attention, you're almost impossible to kill.
Disadvantage: What, you wanna be locked up in a small room forever?
There are a number of switches in this wad that do something over and over
again. Especially switches lowering and raising the large outside "pads."
Also note that the "pads" light up like Christmas when you step onto them.
