Title                   : Fish! (release 2)
Filename                : FISH.WAD
Author                  : Christopher Bazley
Email Address           : mailto:[email protected]
Misc. Author Info       : Human, male, 21, British, wastrel.
Have been playing DooM since the very
early days, when I first saw it on my
                         friend's 486.

Description             : This is my own (probably ill-advised)
attempt to counter Justin Fisher's [*]
opinion that PWADs based on the
concept of rooms that form words are
boring and unimaginative. I don't deny
that most of them probably are
(perhaps you would include this one
too) but it was a nice little
                         challenge anyway!
[* JF of Aliens-TC fame, that is.]
This is a relatively small level, but
has some neat touches I think. You'll
need to keep your wits about you to
survive, and don't waste ammo - there
isn't much of it about. There's some
armour near the start - don't neglect
to pick it up, because you WILL need
it. Pain Elemental: you MUST eliminate
it before it spits loads of Lost Souls
(ammo again). Revenant: Keep cool and
make maximum use of the available
cover. Two sections of the S walkway
can be lowered if you fall into the
nukage - I'll leave you to find out
                         which. Finally, when retracing your
steps don't assume that you won't meet
                         any opposition. }:>
On ultra-violence you WILL die if you
screw up - if that doesn't sound like
your cup of tea then play on an easier
                         skill level.
"Fish" is the despised pet name by
which my little brother is known, by
                         the way.

Additional Credits to   : Anthony J. Burden & Simon Oke (authors
of the Doom Editor for Total

Known Bugs              : "Unknown switch special 105" when you
                         press spacebar near the automatic

when the player walks over a linedef.
This is working correctly, but for
some reason the linedef is also
                         reacting to attempted activations.
