This is some stuff that I started working on and didn't finish. There are
two maps in this package. The first map (E1M1) was supposed to be the start
of a series called D.O.A. - The Homecoming but I decided that creating an
entire town was a bit too ambitious. The second map (E1M2) is the start of
another series called D.O.A. - The Prison. This one is more complete and
has some interesting fights.

Why would you be interested in these unfinished maps? Because they contain
some very cool special effects, including honest-to-goodness breakable
windows (you have to see it to believe it). There's also breakable bottles
and a garbage can that pings when you shoot it. And some very nice textures.

This will work with Ultimate Doom v1.9 (and probably the Doom2 executable
but I haven't tried it). You will need a copy of DeHackEd to install the
DEH patch. If you don't know how to use DeHackEd then you should run this
with a source port that understands DEH files (works fine with Boom). Then
all you need to do is run the three wad files together and warp to E1M1.
Beyond that, you won't get much help from me. This package isn't meant for
beginners and I don't care if you don't know what to do with it.

Oh, one other thing. You do NOT need to merge or join the Doom iwad to play
this with normal Doom. The DEH patch renames some of the Doom sprites so
that the sprites can be loaded from the pwad. The new flats will load without
error as well.

There's some new music included. The E1M1 music was ripped off from the
first episode of The Darkening (I don't remember who made it so I apologize
for not giving full credit). The E2M2 music is a midi2mus conversion of a
song called Desperado (by the Eagles).

That's it. Do what you want with this. I don't care.

The D.O.A. series WILL continue (I don't know when but it'll be great).
