Title : Sleepwalking
Filename : sleepwalking.wad
Release date : 30.09.2024
Author : Ravendesk
Email Address : [redacted]
Description : Sleepwalking is a snowy adventure across 3
MBF21 maps that exists because I made a few midis
and wanted to make maps to accompany them.
Wad was tested with dsda-doom 0.28.1 (-complevel
21) and GZDoom 4.8.2 (default compatibility).
However, wad uses a few tricks that don't work as
expected in gzdoom (secret transfers and some
visual tricks), so playing in dsda is preferable.
Map & music list:
Map 01 - It's noisy outside
Midi - "Cat vs February"
Map 02 - Here come the whales
Midi - "Pinocchio Dance"
Map 03 - Unlearn to breathe

Map 04 (credits map) - Awake

Everyone who played RC versions of the wad
and shared feedback/demos/videos/streams.
Notes about dehacked weapon changes:
You should be able to figure out most of the
changes yourself as they are very intuitive,
the only thing I want to note is how flak cannon
works. The flak cannon fires ripping projectiles
that deal damage whenever they are inside of the
enemy hitbox. As a result, enemies with larger
hitbox receive more damage than those with a
smaller hitbox, so flak cannon is especially
strong against mancubi, arachnotrons and cybers
as well as against crowds of enemies as firing
through the crowd will damage multiple enemies.
Use this knowledge to your advantage!
