Description : Reconditus is a 4 map (+ epilogue) mapset that started circa 2021.
This mapset takes place in a world where temple-like structures
have been slowly assimilated by tech/alien stuff.
What is the meaning behind this mysterious world? Who is responsible?
Is it all a dream? FIND OUT !!! (or not)
Inspiration : Tough to say. The idea came along while I was listening to esselfortium's "Temple" midi.
While listening to it, I was imagining the theme that ended up making the wad and, low and behold,
it turned into this haha

Additional info : All maps have been tested with pistol start and there is a death exit at the end of map 03.

* Construction *
Base : From Scratch
Build Time : Roughly 3 years, on and off. Only picked it up very recently
Editor(s) used : Ultimate Doom Builder, Slade 3, Gimp
Known Bugs : I have not seen any gamebreaking bugs and, none
were reported by my testers for this version. There
may be the odd slimetrail but, heh, I think I got
rid of most of them.
The mapset uses a dehacked that changes the speed of the pinkies/spectres. No idea
how it conflicts with gameplay mods but, I suppose it should be fine.
May Not Run With : Vanila engines and anything that doesn't support boom.
Tested With : Dsda-doom primarily (this is my go to port rn). Should run fine with most ports. Obviously not vanilla lol
