Title                   : Hot Old Garbage
Filename                : hog.wad
Release date            : Apr 25, 2024
Author                  : NiGHTS108
Email Address           : [redacted]
Other Files By Author   : Doomworld Dating Simulator, 10 Line Genocide, 60
Minute Marathon and contributions to much else.

Description             : A little over three years ago I finished my first
Doom map ever and one of the first contributions I
made to Doom's modding community as a ridiculous 13
year old child. I never released it at that time,
but as something of a "celebration" of the time
since on my 17th birthday as a slightly less
ridiculous slightly less child, I figured I'd dump
you all my old trash in Hot Old Garbage! Yeah, no
deep opening paragraph here, just letting out all
of my unreleased Nuts clones, failed community
project contributions and failed megawad attempts,
the vast majority of which were made in 2021 with a
handful of 2022 remnants. Who exactly, if anyone
this appeals to? I don't know. I do know though
that I enjoy being rather transparent and open as a
mapper, so hopefully whatever this trash mound is
will spark joy in some future historian or anyone
like me who just sees fun in looking through
mappers' old junk. If this wad appeals to you
                         then... Thanks. Seriously.

HOWEVER: If you're hunting for a fresh, good
experience right now, then you may be glad to know
that a light resides at the end of the tunnel. As a
tasty cherry on top of this shit flavoured cake, I
present you a thorough remake of the first map I
ever made, created over three years after that, as
an ego boosting demonstration to myself, for the
interest of any normal people wanting to play an
actually good map, and for the interest of any
extremely cool freaks out there who enjoy seeing
this style evolution in other mappers. I'm not
going to say to enjoy this wad, because I actually
hope you really don't, but please enjoy MAP23!
