Description : This is a single map wad for Doom II. It is a
skyscraper with 10 floors. There is a custom skybox
as well as a custom MIDI (a transcription I did of
"Nootropics" by PilotRedSun). Features lots of
doomcute!
Story:
After a long vacation from hunting demons, you were
called up one day to face another invasion. It
seems that the big wigs at a major corporation
tried to make a deal with the devil to increase
their quarterly profits. As expected with Hell,
things turned messy quickly. The demons summoned by
the corporate executives have overrun the building
and are using it as a headquarters for a new
invasion of Earth! Your mission is to go in and
seal the portal those bastards came through and
escape with your life, all while killing as many of
those demon sons-of-bitches that you can, of
course. Now go to work!
I have tested this map in GZDoom and PrBoom+. It
works in both ports, although there are some
noticeable slime trails when using the latter, so I
would recommend GZDoom. This map takes ~1 hour to
beat. The difficulty is definitely more than Doom
II, although I'm not sure if it is as difficult as
Plutonia. Regardless, I would recommend starting on
HMP if you aren't as experienced with Doom. Have
fun!
(Note: I have had this map up on DoomWorld for
almost a month, but after a failed upload to
idgames I have been busy, so I haven't gotten
around to fixing the upload until now)
