Description : Jaded is a large slaughtermap like many others,
meaning it is a dark techbase with flashing green
highlights. It is sandwiched between two gimmick maps
that are only there to round out the wad and flesh
out the atmosphere. Its influences are probably
obvious but I'll mention a few anyways- Fractured
Worlds, Miasma, Magnolia, Abandon, Occula, Newt, and
Criticality. Included with the wad are UV-MAX demos
recorded for each map as a show of good faith.

MAP01: "Prologue"
==================
Small puzzle map, pretty lonely except for one secret Nazi. Sets up the
recurring motif of "the button" and introduces some of the wad's themes-
poison, platforming, exploration. It also demonstrates a couple unorthodox
textures that will be used to signify doors.

MAP02: "Jaded"
================
The meat and potatoes of the wad. There's a few different routes one can
take, though not as many as I had originally hoped for. Compromises had to
be made in order to connect the arenas in a way that worked and made sense.
Once again I took upon the role of copycat and made pastiche from a blend
of influences, though I'm sure there's plenty of lunchlunch-isms on display
as well. I'm proud of this map and think that overall it might be my best
work. At the same time, I'm still not happy with the ammo balance and kinda
hate that one route requires a fair bit of back-tracking.

MAP03: "Epilogue"
=================
Gimmicky closer with popup monsters, minimal health, platforming, a puzzle
section, and plenty of BFG two-shot setups.

===============
A map with no exit to prevent the player from rolling over into DOOM II.
