Map 01: Except Sunder is overrated trash. Pretty looking, but a boring chore to play. Doom was never meant to have this so-called 'slaughter gameplay'. I'm surprised Dario likes it, when there is nothing clever about this design trope of oversized arenas with hordes of monsters that you have to slowly grind through for hours and hours. So what it is that you see in Sunder, that makes it so special? Go ahead, explain it, let's see what you will come up with. Let me guess... It's hard, therefore is good?
