Title                   : Frailty
Filename                : Frailty.wad
Author                  : TheLoneliness
Email Address           : [redacted]

Description             : This is my first wad and these are amongst the very
first maps I've made, that survived and didn't get
deleted, while 'Difficulty Settings' have been
toggled on, it's mostly just less barons, viles and
cybers. Beware these maps were made back in 19', but I'm releasing them now, as I don't see myself ever doing anything else with these maps.

                         Map 01 - Transitions
Maps come in the order that they were made and
almost always progress in the order I made the
rooms/areas. This is likely why this map is very
basic in some areas, even compared to what I've
done in later levels, both in design and in
                         mechanics.

I didn't really want to go back and change these
things, unless there was bugs or other unintended
things happening, as I liked being able to look
back on Map 01 and see how I've progressed.

Map 02 - Blood And Steel
This time I wanted to try and make disconnected
fights, but stick to a very strict theme, I
personally really like how this map turned out, but
I can understand how some people would think the
final fight could be a bit grindy.

                         Map 03 - Castle Crashers
Here I tried to do a mix of the first two maps,
trying to have a certain texture theme in mind,
while having the first half of the map being
connected and the second half being seperated
                         parts.

                         Map 04 - A Concrete Nightmare
Here I again tried to follow a specific theme,
while making the map much smaller in both size and
monster count, trying to make the fights a bit more
claustrophobic and the first try with keys for
                         progress.

                         Map 05 - The Malus
Map 04 was supposed the final map, but I had the
beginning fight of this map stuck in my head, so I
wanted to build another map and this was the
result. I tried to make something similar to a mix
of Map 03 and Map 04, with both some big areas, but
                         also some cramped fights.

                         Map 06 - Frantic Beginnings
On this map I wanted to essentially make the
entire map, to be one giant arena, so if you were
to speedrun it, you could more or less activate the
whole map and have a grand, though hectic, time
                         killing them all.

                         Map 07 - A Garden Walk
I wanted some more interesting fights and wanted a
mere 'serene' looking map, this map was the
                         result.
On this map I also wanted to try my hand with
voodoo dolls and therefore I use them for timers,
instead of just making bars/walls/doors super
                         tall.

                         Map 08 - Deathbed
This is my favorite map of this wad, both because
I think I outdid myself in looks, but also in
gameplay. I also continued some voodoo doll
shenanigans here, although it was aimed for coop,
so coop teleporters wouldn't show, unless there was
                         a player 2.
