1. An introduction to the Doom Music Player
===========================================

I have created this Doom Mus Player for only one thing: Playing Doom Music
In Order Automatically Without Running Doom. Thats all.

2. Installation
===========================================

2a. Where to get this ZIP file
You can get it at ftp.cdrom.com
2b.1 What do you need to get it run?
1. The Ultimate Doom (Shareware and Registered Doom are no longer supported!)
2. A Wad Extractor (installation only)
3. Musplay
4. A sound card. Very important! :)
2b.2 Where can i get the programs 2 and 3?
You can get them at ftp.cdrom.com or in the zip files.
2c. How can i install it?
   1. Extract all the files in the PM099A.ZIP file in any directory you like.
   2. Create a directory "music" in the directory where you extracted the PM099A.ZIP
      into.
   3. Extract the following entries out of your DOOM.WAD into the "music" directory
      with the Wad Extractor (included in WADTOOLS.ZIP). (case sensitive!) The Wad Extractor           included in the WADTOOLS.ZIP file puts automatically the ".mus" extension on the files.          this is needed because the program needs files with the ".mus" extension for playing.
      1. "D_INTRO"
      2. "D_INTROA"
      3. "D_E1M1"
      4. "D_E1M2"
      5. "D_E1M3"
      6. "D_E1M4"
      7. "D_E1M5"
      8. "D_E1M6"
      9. "D_E1M7"
      10. "D_E1M8"
      11. "D_E1M9"
      12. "D_E2M1"
      13. "D_E2M2"
      14. "D_E2M3"
      15. "D_E2M4"
      16. "D_E2M6"
      17. "D_E2M7"
      16. "D_E2M8"
      17. "D_E2M9"
      18. "D_E3M2"
      19. "D_E3M3"
      20. "D_E3M8"

      22. "D_VICTOR"
   4. Extract all files EXECEPT "MUSPLAY.DOC" from the MUSPLAY.zip file into the directory where        you extracted the PM031A.ZIP file in.
   5. Run the program and have fun! :) (you can delete the WAD Extractor now)

3. Version History

0.1: The first Release!
    Made the program! This program still only plays the first 3 songs of Doom,
    but i'm working on it to expand it!

0.25: Second Release
     Now supports the first 6 songs of Doom. Utillities Included. Added
     a Pause function.

0.99a: Fift Release; Third Public Release
      Now supports all songs of Ultimate Doom. Shareware+Registered version no longer supported.
