This is the ONLY version of ZTR that is coming out unless I mess
around with QUAKE alittle. I didn't even mean for this to come
out. I was just sitting their at my computer, messing around
with the IDBSP node builder and WOW!! I noticed an AWESOME IDEA...
So I built this program that is a shell to do what I want.

Okay make sure all the zips are unzipped including IDBSP11B.ZIP.
then what I would do is upzip all this stuff in your PKZIP directory
because one you need PKZIP & PKUNZIP in your path. NOTICE this
will not work if you don't have PKZIP & PKUNZIP in your path statement
if you do not now how to do this, go buy a machintosh because I'm
not wasteing my time on this anymore <G>. Just unzip it to your zip
directory.

Well I think this program is really sweet... ALOT better compression
in WADS so I hope you like it...

The release date for ZTR is 06-19-97. Now for anybody that has any
brains is asking why was is made in 96 and release in 97 almost a year
later. Basically for one reason, I got quake and thought everybody would
like quake better. Furthermore, I went to my friends house and was watching
him using WADED. Then he convinced me to release this program. But in the
meantime I deleted the Source code, the only thing residing on my small 1.2g
hard drive was the executable. So here it is. If you like it I'm glad you do
but if you hate it I'm glad you hate it. Basically this was NEVER supposed to
be released but it is, so be happy. Oh there are ERRORS I KNOW! If you can
make a WAD file then you can easily figure out how to use this program. If WAD
Authors want me to make an updated DOS version AND/OR a Win95/Win16 version I
will Consider it only if I get support via email. So make sure you email me.

I have included a ZTR file with this program. ABC187.ZTR is a compressed WAD
file. To convert ABC187.ZTR to ABC187.WAD type: ZTR -E ABC187.ZTR and press enter
I hope you like this program.

Sometimes when you compress a WAD file it makes the file OUTPUT.ZTR instead of the
the filename you told it to. Just rename OUTPUT.ZTR to the filename you want and
that will work fine.
