Aspect Grade Reviewer's Comments
=========================================================================
1) Theme: 4.0 No consistent theme. This mission
was not boring or bad, just the
theme was not well established. The
middle part of the wad did have a nice
section of sewer tunnels and a courtyard
with pillars.
2) Mood: 6.0 The mood here is: be careful going thru
those teleporters. The mission is not
very large, and consists of several
small sections, each linked to the next
with teleporters. Come out shooting!
3) Architecture: 5.5 Mostly pretty simple, but handled
fairly well. The courtyard with
the pillars is good, but overall the
architecture was just conventional
with a paucity of decoration. For
improvement: better door frames and
more non-rectangular rooms.
4) Technical: 8.5 I was only a tiny bit of HOM, and very
few texture problems. The author did
forget a few door details, but overall
the technical aspects were okay, and
the few minor problems did not detract
from game play.
5) Overall
Difficulty: 5.8 This was a fairly easy mission for an
experienced player, but it had its nasty
bits. Quite reasonable mix of enemies
and ammo and health, suitable challenge
for a novice.
6) Non-enemy
Difficulty: 3.0 No real puzzles in this level, but then
it is suitably complex for its size.
7) Creativity
& Inovation: 4.2 This mission is fairly conventional.
The sewer maze is alright, as is the
placement of teleport exits. The
use of the cyberdemon was okay, made
for spooky sound effects and much
nervous anticipation.
8) Level Logic: 5.0 Standard - survive and escape.
9) RE-playability: 5.5 This Pwad is not especially challenging,
but its variety and simplicity would
make it very good for short practice
runs or practice with a particular
weapon (i.e. chainsaw).
10) Enjoyability: 7.5 I liked this mission. It was simple,
well-executed if rather conventional,
and concise.

Sub-Total 55.0
Bonus: 0.1 For the tension created by the cyber
sounds...

=== REVIEW SUMMARY===
=====================
This is a small, short Pwad written by a fairly young
designers. It makes a good challenge for the accomplished
novice or ambitious beginner. The author needs to think about
doing a more ambitious mission, with more details on the doors,
decorations, and more thought paid to quantity and placement of
ammo, health, etc. Note that co-op play is implemented for
this Pwad, but the map is kinda small for 2 players. Just play
this one by yourself when you have a spare 15 minutes.
